Healthy isn’t a look — it’s a lived experience.

Redefined healthy means:
-
nourished, not restricted
-
connected to your body, not battling it
-
moving with more ease, strength & less pain
-
supported by sustainable habits, not controlled by rigid rules
-
building strength that improves your quality of life
-
developing stability, mobility & body awareness — not just chasing aesthetics
-
enjoying food without fear, guilt or obsession
-
cultivating a relationship with your body rooted in respect, compassion & trust

This philosophy is the foundation of how I coach & the heart of small but MIGHTY — helping women & girls build a more compassionate, realistic & sustainable relationship with health, movement, food & their bodies.

My Story
For most of my life, I struggled with my body — how it looked, how it felt & how I felt in it. I hated what I saw in the mirror, compared myself to everyone around me & tried to hide my emotions behind food. I didn’t take care of myself in any real way; I just pushed everything down & hoped no one would notice how deeply uncomfortable I was.

When I finally decided something needed to change, I swung the pendulum too far in the opposite direction. My penchant for perfectionism kicked in & the changes I believed were “healthy” quickly became another form of self-punishment.

I over-exercised. I set rigid diet rules. I obsessed over my weight, my body & my workouts — convinced that discipline was the answer & that shrinking myself would solve everything.

Not only did it not work, it made things worse.

Trauma, chronic illness & body dysmorphia eventually caught up to me, & I couldn’t ignore what my body was telling me anymore.

Once again, I had to change — but this time, not through force, fear, or perfection. I had to learn how to treat my body & mind with care instead of control.

Instead of asking, “How do I fix my body?”
I finally began asking, “What is my body trying to tell me?” That question reshaped everything — not just my training, but my entire definition of health.
And that was the beginning of everything I now teach.

Whle most of the fitness industry teaches extremes - push harder, eat less, chase discipline, ignore pain - I know that strength & health doesn’t come from punishment or perfection. It comes from listening to your body, trusting yourself around food, self-compassion & building small, sustainable mindset & behavior changes.

My approach was born from lived experience, but it’s built on something far bigger: a belief that real health comes from understanding your body, not fighting it.

That's why my training style blends corrective exercise & long-tempo strength training with mobility, stability & flexibilty training. And my health coaching is focused on sustainable mindset & behavior change with a focus on improving body image & breaking free from the the all-or-nothing cycle & toxic diet culture.
Because healing your relationship with movement, food & your body is just as important as building physical strength — they fuel each other.

Why small but MIGHTY Exists
I created small but MIGHTY as the space I wish I had when I needed it most — a space where strength is measured by presence, consistency, awareness & resilience… not by punishment, perfection, or comparison.
It's built on the belief that small, intentional steps can create life-changing health.
That slow, supportive movement can transform your body & your confidence.
That healing your relationship with food & your body gives you freedom you didn’t know you were missing.

And most importantly:
Because everyone deserves a coaching experience that meets them where they are, honors their complexity & helps them feel strong — inside & out.

small but MIGHTY isn’t just a business. It’s the belief that health should support your life — not consume it.
A rebellion against toxic fitness & diet culture.
A home for people who want real strength, real confidence & compassionate support.
A place where you can feel safe enough to grow, heal & reconnect with yourself — without shame, punishment or extremes.
What Makes This Different
Intentional Movement
Movement should help you feel safer, stronger & more connected to your body — not at war with it. My approach combines strength, mobility & corrective exercise to improve stability, reduce pain & injury, & create a deeper mind-body connection in a way that feels supportive rather than punishing. By slowing down & moving with intention, you learn to better understand your body’s needs, slow the nervous system, reduce stress & move in a way that feels more grounding.
Individualized Support
Every body, lifestyle & nervous system is different. Coaching should reflect that. Programs are designed to meet you where you are, with flexibility, modifications & sustainable progress that supports your real life.
Integrative Health
True health is more than workouts or nutrition plans. Together, we work on the habits, mindset patterns & all-or-nothing thinking that impact your relationship with food, your body, movement, stress, rest & self-worth.
